WEBINARS & COACHING
WEBINAR TRAINING THAT WORKS! - PERSONALIZED COACHING
As much as we love face-to-face training, we recognize that sometimes that’s just not practical for some clients. Therefore, many of our programs can be offered as webinars, customized for your needs. For example, we can provide an introduction to The Power of Positive Networking® workshop as a 1 to 1.5 hour webinar. Or, we can delve deeper by offering it as a two-part webinar.
Part 1: Learn the essential skills of Positive Networking®
Part 2: Put those skills into practice right away by attending a networking event after the first webinar and then reporting their experiences and challenges online before the second webinar.
Shepa Circles can also be offered as a webinar series.
QUESTION? It’s networking, so how can you teach the skills of connecting via a webinar?
ANSWER: We use our WORK THE POND! seven-step program, N.E.T.WO.R.K. Each step contains tried and true techniques, that are easy to learn and they work. And our webinar is interactive. We know, everyone says their training is, “interactive” but ours is because it:
- is presented live
- has cool, interesting slides
- contains instant polling
- incorporates online chat
- continues offline with real world exercises, post-event surveys and a PDF newsletter
- builds community with follow up blogging
“The interaction kept me more engaged than a regular online presentation.”
The presenters did a great job in a virtual environment and I felt engaged even though I was not in a room with others.”
HOW SUCCESSFUL?
Here is an example of the success of a Positive Networking® webinar program held in 2008 for approximately 200 employees of a large financial institution. These graphs show that after completing the training there were substantial changes in the attendees’ networking attitudes, skills levels and their networks. 86% of the attendees recommended the training be provided to others at this company.
86% of the attendees recommended the training be provided to others at their organization.
